Orthodontic Laboratory

At identiti we are unique in that all the cases received by the lab are reviewed by a Specialist Orthodontist before going into production.

 

A close working relationship is very important to us and to the outcome of your clinical work which is why we have factored in time to discuss and plan your cases on an individual level.  We take time to understand your previous training and experience and also can advise you on further training we think you’d benefit from to take your career to the level you want to operate at.

 

So the actual laboratory product is bespoke but so is the support which doesn’t end after your lab products have been delivered.  All clients have access to our online forum manned by Specialist Orthodontists to guide them through their laboratory made cases

We are also close followers of digital technology and will keep you informed of how it can benefit you by reducing surgery time in terms of workflow, outcome prediction and general planning. CAD/CAM continues to shape how we working in all areas of dentistry.

Our labial indirect bonding system.

You chose between our standard Radiance, crystal clear ceramic brackets or select metal brackets as a cost effective alternative or upgrade to self ligating Damon Q or Damon Clear bracket, the choice is yours.

 

The process

After your case has been reviewed by a Specialist Orthodontist, we will contact you by your preferred method to discuss further before we put your case in to production making sure we are all agreed on the treatment plan.

When your appliances have been made they will be packaged in a branded box and shipped to you.  The kit contains your choice of brackets in easy to use sectional transfer trays, an etch and bond product, a set of 3 round NiTi  arch wires, elastic modules and steel ligs, wax and a patient care leaflet.

If you are a beginner then Simply Plus is an ideal starting point for you as your case is reviewed by our specialist who also take your level of experience into account.

As your confidence grows and case complexity increases you still have that support from our specialists who will continue to guide your orthodontic career.

As the brackets in the Simply system are full Roth prescription they are suitable for comprehensive cases and even extractions, the system supports your career growth and development.

Support throughout your treatment

All cases that have been manufactured in our laboratory also qualify for Specialist Support all the way through treatment.  Lab users will be given free access to our online forum where you can access 1-2-1 support directly from our team of Specialists.

Lingual indirect bonding braces

Our lingual indirect bonding system offering a choice between STB and In Ovation L MTM self ligating brackets. Your choice as to whether you prefer to use a self ligation bracket or opt for the slightly more comfortable option and tie in with ligatures your self.

 

The process

After your case has been reviewed by a Specialist Orthodontist, we will contact you by your preferred method to discuss further before we put your case in to production making sure we are all agreed on the treatment plan.

We will then do a digital set up of the outcome. This is part of the standard process for our lingual indirect bonding brace as the appliances is made on the predicted out come model. At this stage we can send you a file with the set up and indicate various movements, measurements and amounts of IPR to achieve the result.

The service

Our clients love this part of the service as they can show their patients the prediction and make sure everyones expectations of treatment outcome are aligned. As the appliance is actually made on the set up, it makes the outcome more predictable that some labial orthodontics.

When your appliances have been made they will be packaged in a branded box and shipped to you. The kit contains your choice of brackets in easy to use sectional transfer trays, a series of custom made arch wires, a soft cover (like a bleaching tray) for your patient to wear to reduce and discomfort and a patient care leaflet.

As ever the support and guidance is at the core of what we do and lingual orthodontics is more challenging than labial so you will probably need the extra support our lab and specialists can give you until you become familiar with the different working patterns and mechanics.

Our indirect lingual brace product which is a fully customised appliance with a series of individual arch wires specific to each case.
